Erica Synths Announces Black Quad VCA2
The Black Quad VCA Eurorack module is back — with improved functionality
Riga, Latvia, September 18, 2020 — Erica Synths announces the arrival of Black Quad VCA2, bringing added functionality and performance to this useful and versatile Eurorack module. The Erica Synths Black Quad VCA, despite its compact size, is designed in line with the Black Series Hi-Fi philosophy; Erica Synths' custom pre-emphasis – de-emphasis circuits preserve all the nuances of the original signal.
The Black Quad VCA2 is a versatile four channel voltage controlled amplifier and mixer module for use in complex modular systems. Each channel has a linear/logarithmic response selector and signal level indicator LED. Also, all outputs are sequentially mixed and CV inputs are normalled to each other, making the module useful in various configurations. If no CV is applied, the Black Quad VCA2 performs as a signal mixer, and the fourth channel is DC coupled for controlling CV sources as well.
Erica Synths Black Series Legacy
Erica Black series are high-end modules with unique functionality. Only the highest quality components are used and all inputs and outputs are protected against undesired over-voltage. When designing the Black Series, there was no economization on the module width, wand design and usability were prioritized. As always with Erica Synths, Big knobs are assigned to functions that make a difference in sound. Together the Erica Black series are a range of modules that make an entire synthesizer.
Features of the Black Quad VCA2:
- Four independent VCAs
- Selectable lin/log response for each channel
- Manual CV bias and signal level adjustment
- Sequential output mixing
- Signal level indicator LEDs
The Erica Synths Black Quad VCA2 is available now and priced at €200. For more information or to order, please visit the Erica Synths product page.
